SONIC STITCHING

In the ultrasonic stitched seam, a permanent fusion of two materials is achieved by quickly melting the fabrics using ultrasonic vibrations. With no glue and no high temperatures being used, the materials are fused in a controlled process, avoiding any temperature-implied deterioration of the material. The resulting weld is extremely precise and can be of various shapes and styles. These include fine continuous lines, spaced or dotted seams, and zig-zag-patterns to name a few.

WATER REPELLENT

This garment is made of strong Polyester with a durable water repellent (DWR) coating and repels water on contact. For optimal protection against heavy rain, we recommend waterproof products.

QUICK DRY

Quick Dry fabric uses a uniquely "X" shaped cross-section fiber, combined with absorption technology so that sweat and moisture can be pulled away from the skin very quickly and transmitted to the fabric surface.

SEAM TAPING

To waterproof the seams of our garments, they are taped. In this process, our craftsmen and women apply sealing tape which is coated with special glue using heat fusion. The art of this process is controlling the flow and alignment of the tape smoothly, avoiding any kind of air enclosure or pleats, which would compromise the durability and waterproofness of the seam. To guarantee the best performance of each garment, all taped seams are repressed in an additional work step.

WOOL INSULATION

Wool is odour-inhibiting and has a high heat retention capacity. You will not freeze, even on cold days.

WATERPROOF 20’000 MM

The ultra-thin elastic membrane from Mountain Force can withstand a water column of 20’000 mm. In addition, all seams are waterproof welded.

SYNTHETIC INSULATION

Especially when clothing gets wet, synthetic insulating materials are a safe option to prevent you from cooling down. They dry quickly and are easy to clean.

MAXIMUM BREATHABILITY

This garment guarantees ultimate freedom of movement and maximum breathability. The natural temperature regulation of the skin remains possible; no matter whether you sweat more or less, this product will allow your skin to breathe.

DOWN INSULATION

High-quality goose down is the most natural and warmest insulating material. Thanks to the soft, elastic and waterproof packaging of Mountain Force goose down, it provides pleasant, high protection against the cold, wind, and weather.

DETACHABLE HOOD

The hood is detachable and fastened with either zippers or press-studs.

BREATHABILITY

Thanks to high vapour permeability, moisture is wicked away from the body (20’000g\/24h). This guarantees a perfect internal climate.

ANTIBACTERIAL FINISH

The special treatment prevents the multiplication of bacteria and thus the formation of odours. The finish is resistant to washing and offers long-lasting functionality.

4-WAY STRETCH

With 4-way stretch, the fabric can be stretched in all directions. This allows unrestricted freedom of movement and exceptional comfort.

2-WAY STRETCH

With 2-way stretch, the fabric can be stretched in a horizontal direction, providing natural fit and comfort.
